Money in
“What did we bill, and what actually arrived?”
Billed against collected for a period, so the gap between the two is a number rather than a feeling.
Who owes what
“Who is behind, and by how long?”
Aged receivables by account, in current, 1–30, 31–60 and 61+ day buckets.
Teacher hours & pay
“Who taught what, and what did it come to?”
Hours and pay by teacher for a period, at the rates that applied when the lessons were taught.
Lessons & attendance
“Who has stopped turning up?”
Attendance by student, which is the earliest warning you get that a family is about to leave.
However you want to read them.
On screen for a date range, exported as CSV or PDF, or emailed to a list of people daily, weekly or monthly.
A scheduled report is the difference between a number you could look up and a number you actually see. Aged receivables emailed every Monday morning gets read; aged receivables behind two clicks gets read in January.
Cost and margin columns are held back server-side from anyone whose role does not include permission to see them — not hidden in the interface, withheld from the response. A teacher can be sent the attendance report without also being sent what the studio pays.
